The days between Christmas and New Years are some of the busiest travel days, with around 6 million travelers flying during those days this year. Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to find the real deals. Did you know that January to March is the best time to fly if you want to score a cheap plane ticket?

2017 Post-Holiday Flight Deals
For starters, Southwest is currently having a sale offering one-ways as low as $59 when you book before January 26. From San Francisco you can fly to Los Angeles for $49 one way or Las Vegas for $52 one way.
Or you can fly United from San Francisco to Las Vegas for just $29 one way if you head out on a Tuesday in late January or early February!
For our friends on the east coast, Jet Blue is offering a flash sale as well, with one ways as low as $34. You could fly from Boston to Richmond, Virginia for $34 or Baltimore to Orlando for $54.
Virgin America has one ways from San Francisco to Washington, DC as low as $170 if you fly between the end of January or mid-March. You could also score a one way from DC to Los Angeles for $145 if you fly during the next three months.
And for those heading abroad, Icelandair is advertising roundtrip flights as low as $453 from Seattle to Zurich or $475 from DC to London.
