Giving Back to Our Community with Code Tenderloin
One of our core values at TravelBank is giving back and this holiday season our team selected Code Tenderloin to be the recipient of our first holiday silent auction.

Some of the items for sale included services donated by TravelBank employees, a local food tour and a weekend in Napa. Together, we raised $1,580.
The recipient, Code Tenderloin, provides residents of the Tenderloin and other low-income communities with the training and services they need to find long-term employment. The founder, Del Seymour, was once a resident of the Tenderloin himself, and after breaking the cycle of homelessness he lived in for 18 years, he’s now giving back to the community by driving change.
Seymour says that local startups could make a big difference. “There is so much talent here and it’s time for us to come together as a community. We need an investment in our future. When you teach just one girl the skills she needs to find employment, invest in her future, you solve her problem. And by solving her problem you can solve her kids’ problems, her mother’s problems and her grandkids’ problems. We can break the chain.”
In addition to making a donation, our team is excited to learn how we can use our skills to volunteer with Code Tenderloin and give back to the community.
