TravelBank’s Newest Team Member: Head of Product, Kal Vissa

The TravelBank team is excited to announce our newest team member, Kalyan (Kal) Vissa, who has just joined us as Head of Product. Kal was previously at an AI-based startup called Eightfold.ai, where he led several product areas enabling enterprises to attract, retain and promote talent. Prior to Eightfold.ai, Kal spent more than two decades working for both small startups and large enterprises in engineering and product management leadership roles.

Kal also worked at Deem, a travel and expense management company, where he was responsible for launching their white label loyalty travel redemption portal for the largest banks in the United States. All of these different levels of expertise are important for our team and we can’t wait to see how Kal utilizes these tools at TravelBank.

When he is off the clock, he’s spending time with his family trying different cuisines, traveling around the world, listening to music and watching the newest movies. He’s also a big history buff so feel free to quiz him!
